| Well, would you look at that. I've returned, only to make your life a living hell! orrrrrr to bore you to death. I believe the latter is more likely.
I am updating with nothing in mind to say, which normally makes for a boring post. Eh, I'll give it a go anyway.
I am currently in the Gold Coast of Australia, hanging out in Caitlin's apartment. I awoke about 2 hours ago which was 8 in the A.M. Late morning for me, seeing as though I've been waking at 6:30 with absolutly no problem. the sun goes to bed a bit early here, and tends to take me with it. Its odd to feel as though it is 11:00 and have it only be 8:00.
While on this lovely adventure of mine, I've come to meet many people, but depart from them just as quickly. It's rather sad, but to be expected. It's the beauty of a weekend trip, or a hostel, or a simple train ride.
You walk into a room of 7 beds. You occupy 1 of the 7, and should you be lucky, its the top of a bunk bed because everyone else has claimed their own (the bottom) previous to your arrival. If you should experience anything like I, you share not only a room number and shower, but a hail storm and a flooded room with these people and conclude it by sharing the best of all, a good laugh.
You gather in an SUV that holds 10-11 people preparing to spend the next 36 hours with the unfamiliar faces sitting around you. well not just around you, but very closely to you. You not only share leg space with these people from different countries, but an adventure that couldn't possibly be the same without them.
You know how it goes.
it doesn't matter how the situation goes, its all ends the same. Whether or not you see these people again, you learn a little bit about yourself in meeting them.
If it weren't for these people I've shared a room with, a weekend trip with, a bus ride with, etc. etc. I wouldn't be who I am now.
Thank you!
yay for writing a dumb post the no one will actually read! yay!
anyway. Hope you all are well and not terribly ill from the rubbish I've left you with.

| I just returned from seeing The Illusionist with Jillian Marie.
The movie was fabulous. Edward Norton . . .mmm.yaaaaa.
anyway, as the movie started and going through all the opening credits, I thought about how I really liked the music and was anxious to see who the composer should be.
and yes, why yes, who else should it be but Mr. Philip Glass. ooh Phil, your wonderful.
so in summary, the movie was nice as was the music it accompany it.
| I am feeling so inspired right now and it's absolutly superb. Everytime I'm in this state, it seems as though there can't be any feeling better than this.
I've got a few people to thank for this and I feel it is necessary to do so.
Roseanne Arquette and her documentary entitled All We Are Saying. - She talks to musical artists about the seperation of life and art. Quite good really.
Annie Lennox - Her song Wonderful is sooooooo, well, yes, wonderful. it gave me inspiration to create the jazz tech combo I will be teaching this week. looove it.
Daily Dose - Uh, well all this kind of came together when I was chilling on your red suede sofa. many thanks.
I believe that is it.
While I was at the Dose, I realized that the boy from About A Boy and I have a little something in common. He has the tendency to sing aloud without any realization of it. Well, when I get to choreographing something, I sing the lyrics to which I am creating my movement aloud. I also let my limbs fly as I please and I seem to have no control. I get into this zone and forget that I am in a public place. Yes. I am the strange one who sits alone in the corner singing aloud and semi dancing freely, as you and your friends make fun.
Lucky for me and unfortunate for you, I am confident enough about who I am (or at least who I think I am), to ignore the sneers and giggles and carry on in my obnoxious behavior.
yes. well, that is all friends. have a splendid finish to this Weekend of Labor.
ohhh by the way. I am reading The Catcher in the Rye for the first time. I love it. I was reading it at the coffee shop and could not stop laughing aloud. I don't know if that is a common reaction for most readers, but it was mine. I am so taken by the words he uses. Particularly "crumby" and "kills."
I guess I failed in thanking all of the people in which my inspiration derived tonight by leaving out J.D. Salinger.
that being said, J.D., I sure thank you.
